Anjali Chauhan
Executive Director

Anjali Chauhan is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience and a diverse skill set in non-profit organization management. As the Executive Director of WEP India, she brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role, excelling in areas ranging from fundraising, communication, management, and marketing to strategic planning. 

Anjali’s career, which includes impactful roles at HCG Foundation and Vidyaranya, has been dedicated to driving initiatives aimed at social change, cancer care, and empowering communities. She has vast experience in community initiatives, working extensively in cancer care and women-focused initiatives, as well as with children and senior care. Her leadership is marked by successful fundraising strategies, key donor relationships, and innovative marketing campaigns. Her expertise in securing CSR funding and her strategic approach have been instrumental in driving the organization’s mission forward. 

Beyond her professional achievements, Anjali is an active volunteer for animal care and enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her dogs. Her visionary approach and unwavering dedication position her as a pivotal force in the ongoing journey towards equality and empowerment at WEP India. As a dynamic leader, Anjali Chauhan is committed to transforming lives and building a future where everyone, regardless of gender, has the opportunity to thrive. 

Pratima Kamble
Manager-Collaboration Lab  

Pratima is a seasoned professional with a diverse skill set and a robust background in non-profit organization management. As a manager at Women’s Education Project (WEP) India, Pratima plays a pivotal role in the Program vertical, preparing young women to become earners, leaders, and changemakers. Her previous contributions include impactful work with organizations such as Miracle Foundation India, The Akanksha Foundation, and Bharat Forge Ltd. 

Pratima’s dedication to social change is evident in her extensive experience and notable achievements. She presented a paper at an international conference on Rights, Citizenship, and Schools in Italy, discussing “The School and the Fostering of Citizenship.” She was also invited by Lumos, London, to participate in a focus group discussion on Education and Institutional Care. Additionally, she served as a former working group member of the India Alternative Care Network (IACN) and led a breakout session on “Mainstreaming: Expectations, Challenges, and Possible Solutions” at the International Care Leavers Convention organized by Udayan Care. Pratima has also been a guest speaker on “Social Service: Career & More” at Jesus & Mary College, New Delhi. Currently, she is part of cohort 4 of the Emerging Women Leaders program by India Leaders for Social Sector (ILSS). 

With over 13 years of experience in the social sector, Pratima’s expertise spans various fields, including education, youth advocacy, child rights, Corporate Social Responsibility, and women empowerment. She holds a master’s degree in industrial psychology from the University of Pune. Her passion for the social sector was ignited during her college days when she began volunteering with the Red Cross.

Outside of her professional commitments, Pratima enjoys traveling and exploring new places, especially on solo backpacking trips. Her favorite books include “The Diary of a Young Girl” and “My Autobiography” by Charles Chaplin. 

Pratima’s extensive experience, dedication to social change, and passion for empowering young women position her as a dynamic leader at WEP India, driving impactful initiatives that foster growth and empowerment in the community.
